London Exhibitions

JR at the Tate Modern. A casualty to the awful weather while I was in London this week.

I managed to catch the China Design Now on Thursday at the V&A (ended on Sunday). There are three rooms representing a City: Shenzen for Graphic Design, Shanghai for Fashion and Lifestyle, Bejing for Achitecture and Urban Planning. The exhibition completely changed my point of view on China.
I managed to catch Frank Turner playing an instore gig at Pure Groove.

The House of Viktor &Rolf another must see (on till sept 21st). It features all their collections by the dutch designers from the past 15 years and a massive doll's house with 26 dolls in each room. Each handmade porcelain doll wears a signature outfit from the Viktor and Rolf archives and is styled and made to look like the model from the original photoshoot or catwalk. my highlights were Russian Doll (AW 1999-2000) and Upside Down (SS 2006), garments that can be worn bottom up or bottom down.
